How to Download and Install the Game

Silkroad Latino is waiting for you, but before you set foot on the roads of the Silk Road you need to get everything ready. This guide walks you step by step through the three steps that stand between your PC and your first character: downloading the client, creating your web account, and creating your game account on the Alfa server. No prior experience needed: if you can install a program and check your email, you're good to go.

Step 1 – Download and install the client

First, head to the Downloads section of the official site:

When the download finishes you'll have an installer file like this one (the name may vary):

1. 1Run the downloaded file and click Accept to start extracting the client.
2. 2Keep clicking Next until the installation finishes.
3. 3When it's done, a shortcut is created on your desktop: run it to update the client.
4. 4Once the update finishes, the Start button appears. That button launches the game.

Step 2 – Register your web account

Your web account is your identity on the site: it's where you'll manage everything. Go to the registration page and fill out the form with your details:

2. 2Click REQUEST VERIFICATION CODE: a code is sent to the email you entered.
3. 3Type that code into the form.
4. 4Check the box to Accept the Terms and Conditions.
5. 5Click REGISTER.

Step 3 – Create your game account (Alfa server)

The game account is the one you use to log in inside Silkroad. On the website, click My Account, on the right side of the page.

Inside the panel, in the top right corner you'll find the Create New Account option.

1. 1Under Server, select Alfa.
2. 2Enter your username: this is the ID you'll use to log into the game.
3. 3Enter your password.
4. 4Enter the authentication code (2FA) it asks for.
5. 5Click Create Account.

With your game account created, you're all set to open the launcher, hit Start, and log into the Alfa server with your username and password. See you on the Silk Road!
