If you're aiming for the Legend Degree 15 Weapon (Legendary), sooner or later you'll run into one name: The Flaming Tree. It's a chain of 18 linked quests that starts with farming common mobs and ends by handing you the Fire Gem, one of the key materials for crafting that weapon. In other words: no completing this chain, no Fire Gem; and no Fire Gem, no D15 Legend Weapon. This guide gives you the full route, in order, with every mob, every count and every turn-in NPC so you never get lost.

Before you start: locate the mobs and NPCs

Before you throw the first hit, keep handy where to farm and where to turn in. These two screenshots show you the mob zone and the position of each NPC in the chain.

Block 1: The Flaming Tree (Quests 1-2)

Turn-in NPC: Soldier Of Flaming Tree. This is the starting point — these two quests require no prior quest, so you can take them the moment you arrive.

  1. Quest 1 · The Flaming Tree #1: kill 5000 Demon Punisher and 4000 Dark Togui Doll. (No prior quest required.)
  2. Quest 2 · The Flaming Tree #2: collect 3000 Demon Punisher Axes and 2000 Dark Togui Doll Heads. (No prior quest required.)

Block 2: Ancient Warriors (Quests 3-5)

Turn-in NPC: Soldier Of Flaming Tree. To unlock this block you need The Flaming Tree #1 and #2 completed.

  1. Quest 3 · Ancient Warriors #1: kill 6000 Demon Penon.
  2. Quest 4 · Ancient Warriors #2: kill 4000 Blood Niya Soldier and 4000 Blood Niya Sniper.
  3. Quest 5 · Ancient Warriors #3: collect 3500 Demon Niya General Shields.

Block 3: Flaming Tree Soldiers and Dominating The Creatures (Quests 6-9)

Here a new NPC comes in: Flaming Tree Soldier Klaus, who's investigating the area. First you talk to him to open the block, and then he hands you the three Dominating The Creatures quests himself.

  1. Quest 6 · Flaming Tree Soldiers: go talk to Flaming Tree Soldier Klaus. (Requires Ancient Warriors #1, #2 and #3.)
  2. Quest 7 · Dominating The Creatures #1: kill 4000 Demon Ong, 3000 Demon Kokoru and 200 Demon Kokoru Champion. (Requires Flaming Tree Soldiers.)
  3. Quest 8 · Dominating The Creatures #2: kill 3500 Demon Goat and Demon Antelope. (Requires Flaming Tree Soldiers.)
  4. Quest 9 · Dominating The Creatures #3: collect 4000 Demon Goat and Demon Antelope Horns. (Requires Flaming Tree Soldiers.)

Block 4: Darkness Magic and controlling the magic (Quests 10-12)

The reference NPC now becomes Flaming Tree Soldier Dalton. You start by talking to him (Darkness Magic) and continue with the How To Control The Flaming Tree Magic quests.

  1. Quest 10 · Darkness Magic: talk to Flaming Tree Soldier Dalton. (Requires Dominating The Creatures #1, #2 and #3.)
  2. Quest 11 · How To Control The Flaming Tree Magic #1: kill 3500 Flame Witch and Flame Witch Sorceress. (Requires Darkness Magic.)
  3. Quest 12 · How To Control The Flaming Tree Magic #2: collect 4000 Demon Niya Mage Rays. (Requires Darkness Magic.)

Block 5: Can You Control This Power? (Quests 13-15)

In comes Flaming Tree Soldier Abdul. First you talk to him, then you pick up the two farming quests of this block.

  2. Quest 14 · Can You Control This Power? #2: kill 3500 Ultimate Crab, 300 Ultimate Crab Champion and 3000 Schwein. (Requires Can You Control This Power? #1.)
  3. Quest 15 · Can You Control This Power? #3: kill 4000 Fallin Blood Spider and 4000 White Spider Madness. (Requires Can You Control This Power? #1.)

Final block: The Protector Of The City and The Last Test (Quests 16-18)

The final stretch returns to the NPC Soldier Of Flaming Tree and closes with The Last Test — the quest that hands you the Fire Gem.
