Tired of playing Silkroad Latino with the client in English, guessing what every button, skill, or magic option on an item actually does? The Spanish translation patch replaces the client's English text with clear, easy-to-read wording so you know exactly what you're doing: reading skill descriptions, understanding the blues on your gear, navigating the Item Mall, or creating your character without getting lost. It applies in just a few minutes over the server's updated client, and you can revert it whenever you like.

What the patch translates

The patch covers a big chunk of the game's interface and keeps growing with every version. These are the sections already translated:

General interface (UI): Login screen, character selection, character creation, Character (C) window, Inventory (i), Party Match (E), Party info (P), Alchemy (Y), Stalls, system messages (events, uniques, etc.), Auto Potion (T), menu, and the general UI for mounts and pets. Also all NPC options and tabs; it doesn't yet include each NPC's welcome text.

Guild and community: guild information, guild relations (alliance and hostile), guild combat and war, friends list, whisper block (saved on the server and on your PC), mail inbox, and buttons and general UI.

Item Mall (F10): confirmation windows, options menu, and buttons and general UI.

Map: main text and buttons. Zone names, ferries, etc. are marked as coming soon.

Items: magic options (blues), main text for weapons, shields, clothing, and accessories (magical/physical attack, reinforces, durability, critical, attack range, accuracy, etc.), advanced elixir, and item descriptions (type, degree, level, max magic units, etc.).

Skills (S): what each skill does, its description (required item, HP/MP consumed, damage, level-up confirmation window, pop-up window), requirement text (SP, previous skill required), and buttons and general UI. New skills don't yet have a description when you level them up.

Chat and Log: tabs, buttons, and options.

How to download and install the patch

  1. Download the patch from MEGA.
  2. Extract the downloaded file with WinRAR or 7-Zip.
  3. Copy the files and executables inside the Traducción al español SRL folder: ParcheEspanol-Alfa, Patch.pdb, and PK2Writer.dll.
  4. Paste or move those files into the Silkroad Latino client's main / root folder (for example C:\Program Files (x86)\SilkroadLatino). Overwrite if needed.
  5. Make a backup of your Media.pk2 in case an error occurs or you want to go back to the English version.
  6. Open the ParcheEspanol-Alfa executable (as administrator if needed) and click the INICIAR button. Wait for it to finish and press Aceptar.
  7. Open your client as usual and enjoy the game in Spanish.
