In Silkroad Latino, your character grows stronger in two ways every time you level up: by distributing stat points between strength and intelligence, and by learning skills with your skill points. Managing these two resources well is what separates a thrown-together character from a solid build. Here we break down where each one comes from and how to assign them to create the character you have in mind.
Check the skill before you invest
Every skill has its own description window, where you can see its effects, requirements and the point cost before learning or upgrading it. Get in the habit of reading it: that way you won't waste skill points on a skill that does nothing for your build.
Distribute your stat points
Every time you level up, you're automatically assigned 1 strength point and 1 intelligence point. On top of that, you receive 3 free stat points that you can distribute however you like between strength and intelligence, depending on the type of character you're going for: more strength for physical builds, more intelligence for magic builds, or a mix.
Earn skill points by hunting
Skill points are earned by hunting, the same way you earn experience points. The more you hunt, the more points you stack up to invest in your skills. There's no shortcut: killing monsters is what feeds your skill tree.
Learn and upgrade your skills
Once you've stacked up some points, you spend them in your character's skill menu to learn new skills or level up the ones you already have.
- Stack up skill points by killing monsters.
- Open your character's skill menu.
- Spend your accumulated points to learn or upgrade whichever skills you want.
